My late wife was suffering mentally and physically but didn't meet the strict requirements of the Death with Dignity Act. She took her life, alone, on 2-20-2015. She left videos on her iPhone that were very similar to the death bed remarks in the movie.
It's tragic that we don't let our animals linger with pain and suffering yet many will let fellow humans suffer.
The movie quote "You haven't been in my shoes" is so true. Please join your local Compassion & Choices chapter to encourage similar laws in States so that death with dignity becomes a choice.
