A SURPRISINGLY GOOD FINALE

This season was actually surprisingly really good. After that mess of a 3rd season, they finally went back to the roots of what made this show so unnerving, real and good; mental health and illness. Showing the difference sides of suffering from various mental issues through young adults, they really tried to conjure up the magic of season 1 and I think they succeeded in it too. Not only mental health, they went a step ahead and introduced a very common yet dangerous disease too... Somewhere I knew that particular character had it coming. His departure was devastating and sorrowful, yet beautifully depicted. The second half of the episode focusses on Liberty High's Graduation day which was something really optimistic and nice to watch. The way Jessica and Clay gave their speeches, after what they have to go to through in their years of high school, was really uplifting. We also get a little, very little shot of one of our most beloved characters of 13RW. The best thing they showed throughout the season was how good it is to reach out about your mental health to a professional. The way that psychiatrist treated Clay and actually helped him overcome his mental trauma and state was really a good way to send a message that , " Getting a professional help actually helps". P. S. - Special mention to Charlie, because he was the sweetest character on the show who actually lifted us through some really tough moments.
