First off, I'd highly recommend listening to the original Japanese dub because the English dub is an absolute mess. But then again, So is the plot of this movie.
There are many plot holes or just clear gaps in logic that turn this plot into one of just utter nonsense. They want to get rid of Godzilla using a black hole capable of teleportation....really? That is the best you can come up with. Each film in the Millennium era is essentially a soft reboot with each film acting as its own individual story. I am thankful for that because I would genuinely feel bad for the writer(s) that had to deal with a sequel to this trash.
And let's not forget to mention the terrible cast, poor CG and the oddly condensed Kaiju action that is really saved for the final act with a small appearance or two sprinkled throughout the movie as a teaser.
