I actually did not buy nor appreciate the story told.
The dysfunctional family was already not of interest to me (I guess their religion makes it stand out as a Japanese movie).
The arrival of the stranger did spice a bit but the depiction of its impact stayed too specific for my liking. The next step felt difficult to swallow and the rest of the movie offered me nothing that made me review my judgement.
I guessed this movie was really not for me.
