Good acting, somewhat shoddy script.

First of all, I'm a Christian and i strongly support and encourage Christian film viewing. I'm especially excited to see Mr. Turner(Boy Meets World) as the lead actor. With that said, when it comes to the acting, i have no complaints. However, as far as the portrayal of Christian beliefs and values in some scenes, i have my reservations. One particular scene was when Jeff was talking to the pastor about reconciliation of their marriage, how he's not a believer and she is. Didn't the bible say that if an unbelieving spouse wants to "stay" married(they never got divorced in the film), to let the unbeliever stay so he can be "won" by the believing spouse? And to go on and calling him a "fool" quoting scriptures, i think it's a very poor portrayal of God's heart in the situation. I don't about anyone else, but when i found Jesus, i went about trying to reconcile with people i have wronged. I just feel like in this film, shouldn't the believing spouse be the one chasing after her husband whom she's wronged? No one is perfect and i'm sure the husband had a part to play, but if the love of God is in her, then it should've compelled her to reconcile, not run and hide. Wasn't trying to get preachy. Overall, ok film. Wish i could rate it better. Good acting. Pretty good cast. Sub-par script and kind of a bad portrayal of the church(or sadly, maybe an accurate one).
