My overall rating of "Breaking Bad"'s Season 2: 5/10
When the character of Jane first appeared in the series, I did suspect that she'd become Jesse's love interest, and the show, usually very predictable, concurred. Over the next few episodes, their love story unfolded, being a spot of something genuinely nice, wholesome and heart-warming in the series. Her drug relapse was less predictable, and this whole episode... Unbelievable. The conclusion to her story arc really shocked me, but, in a way, that was the only way it could've gone.
Some of this episode felt more "cinematic" than believable, but ultimately it's a very good one, and certainly one that gives you quite a bit of food for thought. The acting is excellent, and the writing is mostly so.
