Suskunlar (2012)
8/10
Great Starting; Poor Ending

Warning: Spoilers
The survival of Irfan has been very compelling and has reduced the quality and realism of the series. Instead, I would expect Hasan to kill Ecevit. Hasan had a great commitment to Irfan. He had such a commitment that he did not leave Irfan when he was at the top, nor at the bottom; he did not give up when he sold himself. "Conscience is always bigger than yourself, it always beats you," said Nisan in one episode. But even though Hasan is a conscientious man, his conscience has never been in front of Irfan. Irfan was Hasan's only life. So if Hasan killed Ecevit for revenge, I would say that now it is the perfect ending, but unfortunately not. But I will remember the end in my own mind like this. Unfortunately, the second season scenario was very weak. Many concessions were made from the characters. Ferhat's death was an extreme strain. Likewise, Bilal's death plan is like that. While Bilal and Ecevit were going to kill each other, we saw an Ahu who did not interfere with anything at first, which was very contrary to the character of Ahu depicted. What would Ahu character do would stop that fight. Now you will say they were holding Ahu, but no fellas, nothing could hold Ahu there. In that scene, excessive concessions were made from the character of Ahu. In the second season, there were too many logical errors, but there is no place to write them all. My overall score for the movie is 8/10. It has the potential of 10/10 series but scriptwriters ruined. Nevertheless, "Suskunlar" will always remain one of the most important series that marked the history of Turkish television.
