Good But...

Warning: Spoilers
This Turkish series in general is good the theme is good and the general storyline is good along with the music. The cast and characters are excellent with emphasis on traditional and universal values such as fate, good fortune and circumstance.

but...

The series credits are slightly over the top and it has some American elements to it that are not traditionally Turkish such as lifestyle, presentation and down to the very cars they drive. The names of the characters are also not customary enough for them to be appreciated ( for example to suit their characters I think Cenk should of been called Timur and Azra Emine) The scenes in which the story evolves are too circumstantial for it to be believable. It can drag too much like a soap rather then a proper Drama given the rich literature of the Middle East and evolves too much in to a soap and finally one season would off been sufficient were by the story just stuck to the point and was executed more like a proper drama.

For the plot and for the story too work sufficiently I think it should have centrally focused on Cansu on being reunited with her father and Azra having a leading role as her right hand girl altering but improving the other elements of the series. The ending could of been Cansu marrying Cenk and Azra marrying Tariq or it being a direct but Turkish style copy of the Korean drama shining inheritance which it is based on rather then a loose but extended copy of it.
