I really liked this movie but the final
10 minutes just sortof ruined it for me.
There are so many mistakes in the last 10 minutes that it would take 2 pages to list them but I will start.
The Germans would never behave like that at the end they were far too well disciplined. Also, their German officers would never allow them to behave like that. Also, German officers had the right--which they used all the time--to point blank just shoot one of their men for cowardice or other reasons. The Germans also knew that they vastly outnumbered the Allied men at the well. It also would have been obvious that the correct time to attack the well would have been at 2 AM in the morning. The Allied men could not all have stayed awake.
You had there at the end 2 men controlling like 60. That really is not possible. It would have taken several days walking to reach the Allied line and again the 2 allied men could not have stayed awake at night all the time. That just is not possible.
It is unfortunate because until the final 10 minutes of this movie I really, really liked it.
