I wasn't entirely certain what to expect when I went to the the premiere of I Need You Dead. All of the minimalist and even subversive marketing had led me to believe I was going to just watch another stoner horror comedy, have a laugh, and go home. What I got was a story that was driving, deeply personal, and l, towards the end, emotionally devastating. Also screaming hamburgers.
