Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (2007 Video Game)
9/10
The Nathan Drake Collection is worth every penny so far!

I recently bought the Nathan Drake Collection and just completed Drake's Fortune. I am so glad to say that I Loved nearly every aspect of this game. First off I was shocked to discover this game came out in 2007 because it feels like I'm playing a modern day videogame with how smooth the gameplay and overall mechanics are. This is definitely up there with Half-Life 2 in the sense that it was way ahead of it's time upon release. The plot is good and fairly simple and you've seen it before most likely, but the highlight is the characters that accompany it. Nathan Drake is a legend of a gaming protagonist, you don't even have had to of played any of the Uncharted games and you know the name at very least. The chemistry between Nathan, Elena, and Sully is nothing short but brilliant. As for the Villains they are serviceable. They aren't mesmerizing antagonists but they aren't totally 1 dimensional either, they do their job in being main threats for our characters to overcome which is totally fine with me. So all in all, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is such a great game that leaves you with the same feeling as a fun summer blockbuster. This is only my first introduction into the Uncharted series and I can't wait to see what the next three installments have in store!
