Lena is the New Lex?
5 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Seriously. There could have been even a little bit of a transition between Lena the do-gooder who just wanted to distance herself from the fear and disgust her Luthor name invokes and this Lex-with-hair world-dominating evil mastermind she has suddenly become over the summer. Couldn't she have started out small, like kicking kittens or something before immediately diving into kidnapping and testing unwilling human subjects?

  • Is Eve pregnant? Is she the mother of Lex's child? Will an unborn baby be the catalyst to stop Lena's descent into Pinky and the Brain territory? Probably not.

  • I am assuming British Ralph Lauren is an undercover cop or something, and he's not actually married and that he will soon be Kara's love interest because that's how television works.

  • I am beginning to like Kelly more and am glad the writers are giving her an actual identity outside of being James's sister or Alex's girlfriend.

  • James is going to run for senator? Okay. Still don't care.

  • I realize that Andrea is an antagonist and that we are supposed to be rooting for her downfall, but I would be lying if I didn't say I didn't enjoy her not letting Kara getting away with doing whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. Maybe she's this part of this Leviathan threat Eve was terrified of?

  • Brainy and Nia are adorable. That is all.

  • I haven't been able to drum up and interest in the J'onn/Shapeshifter arc yet, and the entrance into J'onn's memories being the upper half of a vagina didn't help much.

I don't quit shows so I will continue to watch, but I really hope they start giving this season's storyline a clear direction because it is sort of a mess so far. Even at its worst, it's still pretty entertaining.
