Assassination (2015)
7/10
Could have been a 9 but 2 flaws bring it down to a 7.5

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was surprisingly entertaining for a period piece (Though I cannot say I know enough about the Korean resistance from the obvious point of occupation by the Japanese). For a truly overshadowed empire of evil overshadowed by the Clear monstrosity of the Nazi regime as well as Stalinism a movie like this is tricky. I simply had to drop it to an 8 because the Heroine and her Twin in no way pulled off looking alike, nor familiar enough with one another that "The switch" had any reality to it. Also I don't mind most of the Heroes ending up dead that's expected but I would rather have seen the traitor die within a year not 12 years later... The survival argument and the many factions of the Korean underground coupled with the fact that Korean independence after the war seamed unlikely (if he simply betrayed them and didn't become a Japanese officer he'd have been sympathetic) this was not the same scenario as "The Nuremberg Trial" where there was no defense outside of the world being guilty in the passive context. Those two were issues created too much of a disappointment, that I had to lower it to a 7.5
