AnnE definitely has a strong emphasis on the family life, friendships and HEALTHY relationships, not the toxic kind you see in a lot of shows nowadays.. Also I love how we see "non-traditional" families there: brother and sister with an orphan girl, a man with a newly born baby raising it with his friend who is like a brother to him, an elderly woman giving home to a young boy who ran away from his unaccepting family..
I watched with my mom and I think we bonded over it.. made us realize some things, and we heard some stuff we rally needed to hear...
Plus the wonderful soundtrack and cinematography ahh! Beautiful show, just beautiful...
