We took the kids to free movie night at the local theatre where this movie was playing. We couldn't find any reviews on it prior to going and didn't know what to expect. We bought our snacks and settled in for a fun and wholesome family Christmas movie. We were surprised by this movie to say the least. The elves were deranged, and the special effects were what I'm going to assume it's like to have "a bad trip" on drugs. The adults couldn't quit laughing and the kids were stunned silent the whole movie. At the end the general consensus from the kids was that it was "the worst movie ever! Does Santa really do that to bad elves?!" And "that was terrifying!" This movie would frighten younger children for sure. It was memorable, I'll give you that.
