I literally cut my eyeteeth on Frog And Toad, not only the books but the audiobook as well. Which makes it all the more strange that I had not seen this show until I was older. The
narration, which is done by Arnold Lobel just like the narration on the audio tape/CD, is so beautiful that one could fall asleep to it (or at least I could as I have done many, many
times while listening to the audiobook). The clay animation style is also really nice and really fits with the tone of the books. Finally, the voices for Frog And Toad go with them quite nicely, even if Toad's voice is just a touch gravely for my taste (at times he almost sounds like he has laryngitis). All in all, another fine addition to the beautiful world of Frog And Toad. PS: This
review was posted on my grandfather's birthday. PPS: I notice they seem to have made Frog And Toad Are Friends and Frog And Toad Together but not Frog And Toad All Year, what is up
with that?
