Review of The End

The End (I) (2016)
6/10
Not bad, but not great either

Gerard Depardieu plays the lead role in this strange movie, which probably doesn't suit everyone. The film's content revolves around the protagonist who gets lost during a forest walk. But that's only apparent. As I interpret this movie, it is about loneliness, loss of relationships and reality and fantasy mixed. Are the experiences real? This makes the movie experience demanding, and something strange. But it is absolutely sight-seeing. If you are going to see this, you should not read anything that reveals the action. The film surprises big with moments, which lifts the film which can sometimes be stagnant and repetitive.
