Let's see I've seen "Black Christmas", "Silent Night, Deadly Night", "Halloween" and "My Bloody Valentine." What other holidays can be made into a slasher? April Fool's Day. Of course!
I must say, I've always loved this movie poster from when I was a kid. The girl with her hair braided into a noose and the knife hidden behind her back. Such good imagery.
With a title like April Fool's Day you're left wondering every step of the way: is this real or isn't it? Obviously, the prankster(s) would have to be going well beyond your typical gags and that they did. So to know if all the murder and mayhem was real or not you have to watch. Don't put this movie at the top of your "to watch" list, but it's good as a freebie on a boring Saturday night.
