If you like violence...

Warning: Spoilers
This would be one to see. Hoo, boy.

I saw this movie in Wroclaw at the evening film festival on Old Town Square, 2 Aug, 2019. Beforehand, the director and I believe leading female character Roma Gasiorwska were interviewed (fortunately for me, there was an English translation.) The movie was done in Polish language and again, fortunately for me, was English subtitled.

It was one of those sorts of movies that you get the ending first, (in this case it was the death of the protagonist) then a start-off point and from then on you're going back and forth in some sort of time-travel-warp until you don't really know where you are. The main character can't seem to decide if he wants to be some sort of WWF antihero, or be something along the lines of Steve Buscemi in "Big Lebowski" in between drug binges and bouncing between abusive relationships. First a gang bully is after him, then the Russkies, then his psycho girlfriend. The people that are nicest to him, he takes advantage the most. Like most druggies I suppose.

It will never be rated high by Hollywierd due to it's seemingly anti-communist bias, but let's face it, no one in the States will ever see it anyway. It does have a bit of black sort of humor which took some imagination - but probably the underlying message is "Doan do drugs, keeds dey are berry berry bad for you."
