A Clever Concept Executed Reasonably Well

(Flash Review)

A girl is raised in the forest and trained as a soldier by her father to be able to protect herself in case the CIA locates and comes searching for her and her father. At the age of 16 or so, and never having seen another living human, the two are flushed out and into society and the city by the CIA. This girl adjusts really well and occasionally 'unbelievably' quickly to modern society as well as teenage girl life issues. Often, I don't think Hanna would have knowledge of something that she is shown to have and isn't amazed or perplexed enough by a world she has never known. With the goal of character development, there are more than a necessary amount of adolescent 'teen' scenes that tend to drag too long way after the point has been made. These are interspersed with some quality cat and mouse CIA chase scenes, which is the core to the series. Most of the scenes are really good yet a few scenes I exclaimed "really?!"; usually from lazy writing. Overall, this is a semi-unique take on spy and cop action TV shows.
