The end - a movie with almost a philosophical notion. It's not the usual into your face apocalypse. The movie develops very very slow and leaves pretty much everything open for your own interpretation which might leave U with a feeling of emptiness. Usually I appreciate unexpected twists etc. however in the end is maybe too much untold.
This said, there are some great scenes (the nature Pool one is wonderful, the little girl on the boat one simple but so effective and also the goats do deliver a eerie atmosphere)...what I found also very intriguing was the matter of fact that all persons who disappeared have been alone, distanced from each other and maybe only the true lovers survived. Maybe that's the final conclusion? At least for me it worked that way.
