Is Gunmen From Laredo Shane? No but I enjoyed it. It is about overcoming the odds to achieve victory. What did Gil have to overcome: Being framed for the murder of his wife, and getting convicted of it, sentenced to prison ( and escaping dealing with harsh elements ( including a sandstorm), having to fight indians hand to hand and finally facing those that were really responsible for her death makes it worth watching. I would mention The Indian/Mexican woman Rosita ( Maureen Higgert) is beautiful and the scene in the cave with her and Gil was daring for 1959. Does Gil win and end up with Rosita ( a woman really devoted to him and cannot tell a lie ( she even says "I am glad your wife is dead" and " Rosita can only love once")) ? Spoilers ahead: Of course: But seeing how he does it makes it all worthwhile.
