Bad writing, bad acting, ludicrous premise
9 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Garbage writing, unlikable characters, weak acting, and jus ta complete mess all the way through

The ending is so comically bad that I can only compare to something you'd come up with in 8th grade for a creative writing project. Just in case you missed it because you were stabbing yourself in the eyes with a rusty fish hook:

Everyone signs a guest book at the beginning but it's actually a waiver allowing you to be violently assaulted, held at gunpoint, and potentially burned to death? And you also won't know it's going on, and of course you didn't knowingly sign it. Try that sometime: have someone sign something by telling them it's whatever (a guestbook, birthday card, etc) and then pull a gun on them. Then when the cops show up just tell them hey, I have this waiver. Let me know how it goes.

How a movie like this gets greenlit is beyond me. I wouldn't expect to hear much from this director/writer combo. At least I hope not...
