Would have been an 8 with better editing, what happend to the ending?

Warning: Spoilers
Wow - the most missed opportunities I've ever seen! The star is the lead for today's YELLOWSTONE, does a good job as a man with a dark past. There was no soundtrack -- that would have gotten it a few stars, throw in some 80s rock and smile once or twice! There are scenes actually out of place, not just in the weak flashback usage, just out of place. I don't' think they even accounted for one of the bad guys --wasted opportunity, he had a personality too. And that ending, what happened? You were waiting for the dad to get closure, it was right there for him to give it to the dad, he just needed to say "here is your payback" and have the head bad-guy still alive and wrapped up for the dad to make the decision. Instead, the lead guy just walks away and there is a last minute monologue by the dad? Didn't even give you closure on the main guy who killed the wife. WTH? Wow - could have been better if they would have hired a professional editor and had a budget for music. Getting tired of movies using the droning note throughout to aggravate the viewer. Sad failure here.
