Intriguing but storyline heavily lacking

Warning: Spoilers
While the premise of the novela is to bring attention to LGBT youth and their struggles in a prejudiced society we don't see any of that. The story actually doesn't focus on the main characters at all but rather focuses on what I would call the side stories. While the writers had a nice concept they missed their chances of adequately bringing attention to topics such as LGBT struggles, depression, suicide, abusive/controlling relationships, and political corruption. Every story seemed to have started but either was abruptly concluded or completely forgotten. This show was a major miss and it could've been better made had the storyline been more developed. Even for a short story there was mostly comedy at the most unfitting parts that takes away from the emotional moments of the show that seemed to be put in as a filler for the lack of actual content. This as well as awkward camera directing that leaves the viewer wondering what we are supposed seeing in the shot left me wondering if the show producers and writers even put any effort into making an, at the very least, decent show. Many moments were actually predictable while other moments made absolutely no sense. I really wanted to like this show for it's general goal but it strayed away from the goal and ultimately failed.
