Absolutely one of the comedy classics of all times, and it's not PC! Satire shakes up our sacred cows like higher education and fraternities. Not to mention, um, avoiding ethic stereotypes. John Belushi really IS "Animal House" but the rest of the cast rocks as well. Between seeing it twice in first-run, I've enjoyed on TV many times. And it keeps getting better every time.
I like the way the pompous establishment figures get their come-uppence. Niedermyer and Dean Wormer are guys you love to hate, and you are not disappointed by their outcomes. The movie um, doesn't pay deference to ethnic minorites either and I never heard any complaints either.
I've noticed that men love this movie but for the most part women hate it.
