It's Bruno! (2019)
7/10
As good as a game of fetch

It's not bad. But it's limited. Bruno, the dog - unlike other dog stars such as Fraiser's Eddie or Lassies, umm ... Lassie - doesn't really have much personality. The show just doesn't focus on him, per se. it's about his owner, Malcolm and the situations he gets into because he loves Malcolm so much. Really, the doggie plot points are limited too. What do we have? People who don't pick up after their dogs; people who bring their dogs into businesses; people who walk dogs; people who steal dogs; people who pet other people's dogs. Each half-hour segment vamps on one of those themes.

There's a recurrent bit of schtick involving a stick that grows on you.

It's cute. I like Bruno's person, Malcolm (Solvan Naim). I like his rival , Harvey (Rob Morgan).

Not a waste of time but it probably won't stick with you anymore than a game of fetch sticks with you.
