Although the script is quite different from that of the first film, this is still only a remake of "Les visiteurs" for the US market. The film completely ignores the previous two and brings essentially the same story, with the same actors in the main roles, who this time speak English instead of French. Many gags and jokes are copied from the first movie, but do not have the power and soul they had in the French version. I can not say that the movie is bad, but it is unnecessary and redundant to anyone who watched and loved the original. The only advantage it has over "Les visiteurs" from 1993 are the actresses - disarming beauty of Christina Applegate, irresistible sex appeal of Tara Reid, who I loved in "Sharknado" franchise, and horny malice of Bridget Wilson-Sampras, who unfortunately did not get the opportunity to appear in full brilliance, as she did in "Love Stinks".
