I admit- I am very subjective about this film. Yes, it is a modest film. Not convincing for the people out of Church. But useful for the believers.I saw it as a hommage to one of the greatest saints of XX century. Honest, well acted, dramatic, good remember for the believers knowing his life and sacrifices. So, a Greek Orthodox film about a man making a fundamental option, healing, suffering for his faith, giving hope and courage and his gestures as model for the resistance against Communist dictatorship. The life of Saint Hyerarch Luka Voino- Yasenetsky. Maybe, not the best. But, I supose, for a large part of public , the film represents the decent form of hommage to an admirable saint man and his special form of sainthood.
