This movie is heartbreaking - not because of the story it tells, but because of the story it fails to tell. Eric Liddell is one of the greatest heroes of the Christian faith and his life in that Japanese camp was a testimony to God's faithfulness in the darkest hour. This must have been a film made by atheist Chinese. Horribly disappointing. Void of all that made Eric Liddell great. I give it NO stars!
