An enormous amount occurs in this show. A doppelganger to JIM/Sam is introduced, Dr. Byrd turns out not to be the villain he was in the previous episode, and Jim gets his memory back.
This no doubt took some planning on the part of producers and script writers to come up with a conclusion, to set the show back on track. They did a great job.
