It could be a better start but in general this first episode of the second season
wa not bad but sadly it was not very good either .
I like it how this episode tries to deepen the different characters a bit and and the general mood is not to serious .
what i don't like is the general weak male characters , captain mercer and how he deals with kelly's rejection is childish and he acts strangely needy to her at times .
When Kelly on the other hand acts childish in one scene it is a clear message we all need to adapt too female irrational behavior , why not confront her with this
and demand that she needs to behave like an adult .
In general i see a little bit of a trend in portraying the male characters as too needy , childish and sometimes dumb and i don't like it .
I hope they do not go overboard with this and the general mood is still playfull
i really do want to like this show , it has a graet star trek vibe but do not go overboard with this stuf because it is a real bummer .
