We often think of prisons as the worst place people can end up in our society. But the taint of crime and memory will always be with these people, which is a greater punishment than imprisonment. I looked at this middle-aged white lady and her life after she got out of prison. Apparently she got a similar job as a paralegal after jail, which surprised me. However, she was caught stealing money again and tried to use the stolen money to pay off the debt and fine from her last conviction.
