Last time I checked, freedom was about having a choice without telling what this choice should be. The latter is an example of restriction no matter if you promote KKK (Kinder, Küche, Kirche) or career, multiple orgasms, and gender transition. I was not scandalized to see people practicing bondage, living with sex dolls, or selling their bodies but it really hurt to watch this interview that the hostess made together with an Arab model in a Berlin refugee camp. In it the two "civilized" women made a mother and a wife look like a complete idiot for not striving for the last trends in the freedom domain. Even if her situation was indeed a result of a "limited" horizon, shaming people could not and will never "empower" them.
