7/10
Good, but notfor traditionalists

I'm a big fan of AG and loved Ustinov and Suchet. Malkovich is brilliant and offers a new and refreshing version of the loveable Poirot.

It's a bit gloomy, but also more realistic and has a new and interesting insight to Poirots past and retirement life. It's a bit like the James Bond reboot starring Craig.

Only negative is the way Poirot arrives at his conclussion, which came a bit sudden. The wonderfull twist in the novel should been given more debth.

Definately worth watching
