As many others, I did not like season 2, which was for sure not success. Actually, I did not watch any crime serial in last years - seen already too much of them. There are other things in life, and even in TV serials than crime, detectives ...
Did not watch HBO and their serials at all after very disappointing Westworld.
And then suddenly, there is season 3 of this. Although, here that may confusing a bit - not really new season, but rather new story, actors, place .
What is same is a dedicated detective, 2 of them - but main hero is more dedicated, clearly. There is a love story, cleverly combined with investigation. And with great acting, dialogs it just gives to watchers hungry for something serious, realistic what they need. Yes, I said 'need' instead 'want' .
Highly recommended. Of course not to everyone. Those wanting lot of 'action', shooting, chasing, sex, violence, some superhero, superskilled detectives will not enjoy this. But they have a lot of it on table.
