I saw this film only once-in 1964-when i was 16 years old. I have never forgotten it.
It was very upsetting, violent, and unlike anything i had ever seen. The cast is amazing-
but this film is hard to watch. The violence in the film is "normal" today--but in 1964 was almost unheard of. Be prepared!!
