The time that William Wallace and Robert Bruce challenged the throne for their independence . Historically it is quite accurate. As a production it excels in cinematography, acting and the cheography of its battle scenes which are spectacular and visceral . If you have a good sound system with a decent sized 4K screen you'll be impressed with this brilliant production
