The presence of Nora Allen is still a bit of a mixed bag for me. I'm more than done with the goofy and innocent part of her character that continues to mess up in action, but I still think there's plenty of room for interesting story plots with her character going forward. Also, the idea that they will once again have to "change the future" feels unoriginal and derivative. Are we really going to go down that route again with Barry going missing? The first official appearance of Cicada also drew some eyes this week as we think he may be the lead villain for this season. He looks ridiculous but his powers do seem to pose some sort of legit threat, though doesn't it seem too similar to how DeVoe? You know removing another meta-humans powers, seemingly for your own power? At any rate, it wasn't exactly the most exciting episode nor eventful, but I can appreciate the show feeling a sense of urgency in giving us Cicado so soon in the season, that is if he's truly the big bad of the season.
