Light timewaster

BLOODSUCKING BOSSES is a low budget comedy horror flick in the EVIL DEAD mould, except much more campier and jokey in tone. The story has the feel of THE OFFICE with lots of desk-centred humour and geeky characters commenting on the action. They think their lives are bad when they're being oppressed by their hated bosses, but a sudden vampire outbreak makes things much, much worse. There's a lot of gory humour here, particularly in the second half, which works well, although I did find the central characters rather annoying and overstated. Pedro Pascal is good value in support. The film is light, airy and completely forgettable, but it passes the time well enough.
