This filmwas like going to see your favourite uncles and spending the afternoon with them.
Lots of camaraderie between the cast in the first half, but then it takes a more sinister turn as they all fall apart and start to doubt one another. As usual, Caine is fantastic, but Broadbent is terrifying in his role. It's a role more associated with Winstone, and he shocked me in some scenes.
Not as magnificent as the cast suggest, but the use of footage from the casts earlier films/projects, makes it stand out a little bit more.
