A truly original take on the absurdities of living under oppression
12 September 2018
Bonbone delivers a hysterically poignant message. The portrayal of the protagonists as two adults who simply wish to start a family together contrasts starkly with traditional narratives revolving around conception. Rather than being at the mercy of their bodies and their reproductive systems to make a baby like most couples, the two are instead held captive by the militarised system of injustice which incarcerates and separates.
