Ya Veremos by Pitipol Ybarra (2018)
Mexican film, like the other 2 thousand. Now Pitipol Ybarra brought us this romantic comedy about Rodrigo, a doctor that has a child called Santi with his ex-wife Alejandra, an independent woman that is about to get married with her rich boyfriend. But in the middle of all this, they find out that Santi is sick with juvenile glaucoma, so here's where the action begins.
Actually, the movie is not boring, is just that the characters lack a lot of depth.
Santi's glaucoma is diagnosed soon in the movie, so Rodrigo get to stop Alejandra's trip to complete a to do list that Santi made before the operation. In fact, the 80% of the movie is about Rodrigo and Alejandra doing these things with Santi, adding the typical comedy that we watch in our movies (I'm Mexican, by the way).
Not a lot to say, but the dysfunctional family got healed by Santi's sickness.
The movie is full of incoherent moments, you'll notice when you watch it; and the overall film is involved in a predictable story.
