Sharp Objects? More like slow moving objects.
Okay, that horrible joke aside, this show needs to find something to keep viewers engaged. I get wanting to remain true to the novel and its pace of developing and unraveling emotions of the characters moreso than major moments like a car accident, shooting, romance or something, but for TV that does not really work.
Seeing all these familiar actors putting on bad midwestern accents doesn't help things either.
