The title does not really come into play until that final moment, or does it.
I appreciate Amy Adams joining the TV foray, I appreciate HBO giving us another edgy drama, but it is a little slow for my taste. Sometimes people automatically assume a show is "good" when it moves at a snail pace, but I don't think this needs to do this.
It sort of felt like a rejected premise for True Detective season 3.
I am curious to see where it goes, but I think people are highly overrating the pilot.
