I love this show, I really do. The writing is usually top-notch and the Fantastic Four (Fonda, Tomlin, Waterson, Sheen) are extremely entertaining. But this episode is a prime example of what is wrong with the series, mostly the off-spring. Briana is a hideous human being and I find some of the scenes unwatchable. Mallory has no identity other than baby maker and Bud has no identity at all. It's merely "the black one". This lives Coyote the co-dependent recovering addict as a somewhat likable character. I was appalled at the scene in which Mallory hurled eggs at her ex's Porsche. She ended the marriage but she wasn't happy. So he moves on and she vandalizes his car. This is what society calls empowering women?
