7/10
Good to watch if u can ignore the faults or don't see them.

Warning: Spoilers
When it comes to portray reality, the movies which are best are the ones where extensive research is carried out. This is where Hichki has got its up and downs. An example of which can be seen in the execution of project by an elite team. Rather than naming it as solar project, it should have been named generation of energy from renewable source as wind mills were also seen. If the project produced energy for real, there was no need for wind mill to come into existence, because their size would have hindered generation of energy.

I liked how some students had natural gifts which was been channeled for better when it came to performance at their academics. It is however difficult for me to grasp some of the gifts that were used against teacher.

While watching the movie, it occurred to me for an elite institute, overall development of a student occurs rather than just studies. There are farewell functions, gathering and so on. The rapping of lines and the student through which it came showed no development in the mentioned area. In my mind I was expecting him to perform on stage.

I was gonna rate it high, but after rethinking I have changed my mind.

Tone, Script & Story: Has its up and downs. Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography: Average. Music: Average. Acting: Though everybody is praising Rani, I found acting to be average from her side while some (students) were good.

Final Verdict: Good to watch if u can ignore the faults or don't see them.
