This was such a welcome and refreshing episode for me (Definitely top 5!) Cute, happy flashbacks that were touchingly sweet and almost provoked happy tears. Flash forward and the present-day characters laughed and had fun!
It was also great seeing them interact with people outside of the circle. The music was even more upbeat. This show wouldn't have been able to sustain itself being depressing and make people cry every week, and I am so glad to see that the writers can craft a wonderfully entertaining episode like this. Don't get me wrong, the realness and sap were still there, but weren't forced and overwhelming. I look forward to more episodes like this!
