Icing was definitely on the cake with the cherry on top - A winning short film (spoiler review)

Warning: Spoilers
A lot of short films released on youtube are mostly non-fiction (based on true stories) or released for the audience to raise social awareness. But this one definitely caught my attention after seeing the trailer on youtube.

Parinaaz Billimoria is a Parsi mother who lost her beloved son Arshan in a car accident a while back at the age of 21. Currently, she is getting ready for her 2nd marriage with a decent guy named Peter but without Arshan's presence, she breaks down into tears and becomes skeptical. But her son's imaginative presence changes everything.

Quite frankly, this film was nicely written and directed so hats off to Sanil Gosavi. The emotional factors in the film very consistent and intact which made those 17 minutes of the overall film watchable.

That scene where Parinaaz reads Arshan's letter really got me going like almost jerked a tear.

Acting was nice and seeing Delnaaz Irani after KHNH really raised the bar and she is ready for a comeback in mainstream films. Sanil Gosavi (also the writer and director of the film) was superb as the son and he was the emotional figure of the film. Other cast were also great in their roles too.

Cinematography and locales were simply spot on and the credit goes to the editor and DOP of Sanil's crew.

Overall, the film was beautifully done and it is live on Youtube.
