Warning: Spoilers
I have watched many Animes. Many had better ratings, many were much more popular and many of those I didn't like. Actually, unlike in my teens I liked almost none. This is why it was such a surprise when I found this relatively anonymous gem. It's in none of the "must watch anime" lists, it's not recommended in any Youtube videos, and basically I came across it completely by accident.

It seems that the hiatus leading to season 3 caused the worst nightmare of a god to occur: it has been forgotten.

The series follows the life of a god who dreams of getting famous, his weapon (a kid), and of a girl who is by unfortunate luck had her life intertwined with theirs. Unlike in many other Animes the character's interaction and feelings are very believable, pleasant and logical. The friendship between them evolves slowly and steadily.

The god, Yato, seems like a silly and dreamy teen but hides a dark and bloody past which makes his character hard to crack. Him, Hiyori and Yukine get themselves into a lot of drama by simply trying to live day by day while getting used to each other. All that drama is mixed with a bunch of humor which makes this series light and fun to watch.

Me and my husband enjoyed watching it very much.
